So, I took a sequence (me picking up a flashlight) and at certain points, cut it into segments and then increased the speed from 100% to 800% for certain segments. I had hopes of producing a jump edit. Jump edit is my term. I think it's an easy edit trick. Though, notice how the background seems to move upward during the jump. I did not move the video up. So, I imagine it's just a side effect of cutting and increasing the speed of a section of video in Adobe Premiere. I can't help but to wonder what it would be like in Final Cut Pro. Would the video move upwards?
